Mark Easton and Catherine Olason: Through the Blue Door New to the Spokane area, Olason and Easton share a studio and a life but bring unique voices to their work. Olason works in oils, clay and textiles while Easton paints with acrylics on canvas. From circus performers to kitchen goddesses, Olason's inward conversation is a continual source of delight and surprise. Easton finds his inspiration from the wide, open spaces inside and out. He uses bold colors to explore mythological themes and finds a spiritual voice that touches others.
