This painting is a transition painting for me as I listen deeply and start coming from a place of integration of my body, my soul's core which becomes a new point of view for 'me'.

I love the motion when I look at this painting and definitely felt it as I painted it. I came across this canvas in a real nice card shop in Estes Park and it said take me NOW! in a nice way, so I did.

The colors speak to me, the mystery pulsating, swirling. The stillness of the blue. Lately on my paintings I go back again and again listening, slowly drawing out the story that wants to be told.

This painting is interesting to me viewed both vertically and horizontal. Which brings up a great question, how should it (or any painting) be hung? I prefer vertical, it tells a far more compelling story to me and leaves me a bit off my comfort zone. Which asks me to look at it anew. Anyways, I have added this last photo of it horizontal so you can feel into the question.
