The "Art at Home" Gallery

Welcome to my buyer's art gallery. I invite the folks who purchase a painting from me to send in a photo of that painting in it's new home. I also welcome any comments they would like to say about the art. Enjoy.

Bear Breathes In

framed painting bear breathes in wall photo of bear breathes in

This is the nicest thing gracing the walls of my cozy and rustic Colorado cabin. The bear makes me happy; I like his energy. I love how the painting has such depth and dimension. I never get the feeling that I am looking at a flat surface - it's more like a window into another world.

Evolution

Rob with her painting Evolution

I LOVE the little magical people being born from the tossing primordial seas and drifting through space up to Earth.

For me this painting exemplifies absolute joy and magic....no restraints. It tells me that there might be a bigger picture in terms of where we come from and where we are going. And I feel safe when I look at it.

It puts the petty worries and dramas of my day-to-day life back in their place and I start to remember what is really important: life, magic, mystery and love.

Sisters

Emily with her painting Sisters by artist Mark Easton

Sorry it doesn't go with the house! May not have a home but this painting is going with me. Love it, the bear speaks deeply to me. I would never leave it behind.

City of Dreams

city of dreams c2007 Mark Easton artist

What I see when I look at this picture, which hangs in our home, is what beauty lies beneath the sea. Often beneath the surface of another being, including myself, lies the unknown beauty waiting to be seen, to be experienced. Mark's paintings bring to life what is often hidden and represents other aspects not often seen.

Sun Dog Chases the Moon

sun dog chases the moon, painting by Mark Easton

Where do ideas come from?

The dichotomy of the ruminating chicken, with the leaping creature above, speaks to me about brewing imagination. There are no boundaries within our dreams- hmm something to keep in mind while we tend our nests! The colors are vibrant and the treatment of paint is lively and fresh. Mark paints to the edges so framing will be an open box, so nothing is missed.

I want to put this in every room where I live- but will hang it for now, in my living room to remind me of possibility.

Catherine, Colorado, USA
